Charactra Pro

Charactra Pro is a project I’ve been building for people who want a more personal AI character and storytelling experience without having to rely on a cloud service. It runs locally on your PC and is designed to make creating characters, personas, stories, conversations, and images feel like parts of one application rather than a collection of separate AI tools.

You can create detailed characters and personas, build stories, have multi-character conversations, generate artwork, manage your local AI models, and customize the look and feel of individual conversations. I’ve tried to keep the interface approachable, so you don’t need to understand all of the technical details behind local AI just to use it.

• Conversation Customization — Choose backgrounds and adjust background, chat bubble, and interface transparency for individual conversations.
• Local Model Management — Download, manage, select, and switch between supported language and image models from inside Charactra.
• Import & Export — Save and share characters through Charactra packages and supported character formats.
• Light & Dark Themes — A Windows 11-inspired interface designed for both themes.
• No Subscription Required — Once you have Charactra Pro, the AI itself runs using models on your own computer.
